This Privacy Policy describes how Eidica ("the App," "we," or "the Developer") handles user data and privacy.

1. Overview

Eidica operates as a closed system. All notes, media, and location data remain private to the user and are stored only on the user's device or—optionally—within their personal iCloud account. The developer and third parties have no access to this data.

2. Data Storage

• Local Storage: All notes, media, and (if permitted) location data are stored locally on the user's iPhone or iPad.
• iCloud Backup (optional): If the user enables iCloud backup, data are encrypted and saved exclusively to the user's own iCloud account through Apple's secure infrastructure.
• No External Servers: The App does not transmit or store any personal data, notes, or media on the developer's servers or other external systems.

3. Personal Information

• The App does not request or collect email addresses, names, contacts, or location history.
• Location information is stored only if the user explicitly allows it, and only with the related note on the user's own device or iCloud account.
• The App does not share or transmit note or location data to the developer or any external servers.

4. Subscription Data

• Eidica operates on a subscription model and cannot be used without an active subscription.
• Subscription management and payments are handled entirely by Apple via the App Store infrastructure.
• Pricing varies by region according to App Store country settings.
• The developer does not have access to users' payment or identity information.

5. Free Trial

Each new user receives a 14-day free trial before billing begins. On day 15, the first paid subscription period automatically starts unless the user cancels through App Store settings during the trial.

6. Security

• All local data are securely stored and encrypted where applicable.
• The App contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
• It functions offline except when using iCloud synchronization.

7. User Rights

Users may:

• Delete notes and data at any time.
• Manage or delete iCloud backups directly from their Apple ID settings.
• Remove the App, which permanently deletes all local data from the device.

8. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any significant changes will be communicated within the App.
